How to create Datasets on Amorphic?

• Follow the steps mentioned below.

• Pre-requisites: User registration is completed, logged in to Amorphic and role switched

Tidbits

• The first step for creating a dataset is to create a domain.
• Domains are nothing but a schema in the database world.

Create a Domain

• Click on DATASETS --> Domains from side navigation-bar.
• In the Domain Name search box, type workshop. If the domain already exists, skip creating it.
• Click on ➕ icon at the top right corner.
• Enter the following information and click on Add Domain

Domain Name:  workshop
Display Name: Workshop
Description:  This domain will be used for ingesting data of workshops

Create a Dataset

• Click here for instructions to create a dataset

• This link shows the procedure to create a dataset for Redshift and two datasets for S3.

• You may change the name of the Datasets as needed.
