How to create insights on Amorphic?

• Follow the steps mentioned below.
• Total time taken for this task: 30 Minutes.
• Pre-requisites: User registration is completed, logged in to Amorphic and role switched

What is Amorphic Insights?

Insights enables the user to monitor Jobs/Schedules and get the status of the last 10 executions at a glance. One can provide access on the Insight to other users/groups.

Create an Insight

To create a insights follow the below steps:

• Goto home -> Narratives -> Insights -> ➕ Create Insight
• Enter the required information and click submit.
• Make sure to change <your-userid> before clicking submit.

View Name: insight_fraud_'<your_userid>'
Description: Insights created to monitor financial fraud Jobs
Keywords:
Link Resources: Click Add Resources
Resource Type: Jobs
Resource Name: finance_fraud_detector or any other job of your choice.

• Click on Create Insight.
• Once created, you will see 'Successfully created an Insight'
• Click on the Watch tab to view the status of the last 10 executions.

Modify an Insight

• Click on Pencil ✏️ icon at the top right corner to edit the insights.
• Add more resources to the insight.
• Click on Update Insight.

Share this insight to multiple users using an authorized group. This avoids creating multiple insights for the same resource.
